The Lookout: Broadway Energy From Five Floors Up
If Harriet’s is where I’d go for a moody, romantic rooftop night, The Lookout is where I’d go when I actually want to feel like I’m on Broadway.
Located on the fifth floor, the rooftop has the lively Nashville atmosphere you’d expect, but what stood out to me was how much personality the entire space had. Even before reaching the rooftop, there were little details that made the experience fun—from the dramatic stairway and Nashville-inspired décor to the wall of records underneath the glowing LOOKOUT sign.
Once upstairs, the energy completely changes. Colorful lighting fills the space, music keeps it lively, and there’s plenty happening around you. It feels like part rooftop, part bar, and part Nashville nightlife experience.
And being right on Broadway means the atmosphere doesn’t stop at the rooftop. Step outside and you’re surrounded by the lights, music, crowds, and chaos that make downtown Nashville what it is.
This one isn’t trying to be quiet or romantic—and that’s exactly why I liked it. The Lookout gives you the fun, high-energy side of Nashville rooftop culture.

Go here when you want music, drinks, energy, and the full Broadway experience. If I’m looking for something intimate and romantic, I’m choosing Harriet’s. If I want to actually be outside outside in Nashville? The Lookout makes sense.
